Books
School books for the standard carculum are so expensive that the children only have
access to shared copies at school. In some schools it is only the teachers who have
books and they have to write ot the lessons on a blackboard.
Part of the money given to the orphans is to provide them with a text book as well
as a note book, pencil and ruler. This is a great encouragement for these children
to attend school and to apply thenselves to learning.
