Micro Funding
This is aimed at empowering economically individual and or communities to be able
to determine their destiny.
This process of community empowerment has attracted considerable discussions in
the recent past. Micro funding provides some sort of " SEED MONEY" to help individuals
or communities to build their financial resource base. Micro funding can be successful
if good aspects of social capital are identified and utilized as an innate resource.
Example: A small fund has been made available to people in Patauke to help them
start small trading activities. This is mainly taken up by women who make produce
for selling in the street markets.
