New Buildings

Supporting local assemblies (churches) is a vital part of the work of SHAREAfrica. We undertake the building of new halls as well as the repair and completion of existing buildings. Many have benefited from this work and the Gospel outreach has developed as a result of having a place to meet.. Without outside help these local churches would take many years to build their halls – as many have done. There are many in Zambia and Angola who are meeting in ‘makeshift shelters,’ which do not withstand the rain. Some have a grass roof and others use canvas, which has to be put on before the meeting and removed afterwards so it is not stolen. For all future buildings we will use our own team of builders, a group of unemployed who have now gained sufficient experience to be able to work on their own.

We have set up some income generating activities s in a number of local churches in order to help the believers to support themselves. This is aimed at helping the most vulnerable in their fellowships and the witness in general.
